We took part in symposium Baltic Energy Industry Forum which held on 28th February – 1th March 2018. On that meeting was submitted assumptions of the programme “Baltic Energy for Poland 2025”
The aim of the conference was to estimate the potential of offshore energy in Poland – actual potential and how it can be used.
The analyses which have been presented show that the potential of offshore energy in the South part of Baltic Sea estimate 15000MW till 2030. In order to achieve that aim, should be produced and prepare to use:
1400 turbine
1400 foundation
40 offshore transformer stations
3750km internal cables
8 cable-laying vessels
3 installation vessels
Polish maritime industry has a potential to ensure the supply of components for offshore wind farms and power grids, but also delivery, assembly, construction, service and maintenance throughout the entire preparation and operation phase of offshore wind farms or gas pipelines. More information you will find in Programme for the development of offshore energy and maritime industry in Poland
